Michael Quiroz
Regulatory Analyst
As a member of the Public Policy team, Michael assists in developing Ava policy positions in CPUC and CEC proceedings, especially those pertaining to distributed energy resources, equity, and rates.
Before joining Ava, Michael worked as a Data Analytics & Modeling Consultant in Guidehouse’s Energy practice, an Energy Analyst at Ascend Analytics, as well as a project manager and consultant at Bay Area Environmentally Aware Consultants (BEACN.)
Michael earned a B.S. in Environmental Economics & Policy, as well as two minors in Data Science and Energy & Resources, from UC Berkeley in 2021.
