Forrest Csulak
Associate, Distributed Energy Resources (DERs)
Forrest supports Ava’s community programs by driving initiatives to increase the adoption and impact of distributed energy resources (DERs) in Ava’s service area. He also manages Ava’s distributed energy resources management system (DERMS) operations. Prior to joining Ava, Forrest amassed 5 years of experience in the DER space, assisting with utility program design and working with virtual power plant companies to optimize DER control strategies and operations for energy market participation, customer electricity rate savings, electric grid emergency signals, and localized greenhouse gas emissions.
Forrest has a B.S. in energy engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
